Common Hire Queries
- Can I order equipment directly from this website?
- If you are an existing customer and have credit facilities, send us an email and we will confirm the order and prepare the equipment ASAP.
- For new customers we need to confirm a few details beforehand. You may still send us an emailed order and we will follow it up.
- Please Email Us.. with your contact details and brief description of your requirements.
- Do I need a license to hire radios?
- No. We hold a radio hire license which allows us to hire equipment to any part of the U.K. for periods up to 1 year.
- I urgently need to hire radios - how quickly can I have them?
- We have a large stock of hire radios at all times.
- If you have an account with us, the equipment will generally be immediately available for collection by you or delivery by us, subject to any specific programming requirements.
- Non-account customers would be asked to complete a credit application form and their account status verified prior to the hire commencing.
- How do I pay?
- 30 day account customers may pay by company cheque, standing order, BACS or cash.
- Non-account customers may pay by personal cheque (with cheque guarantee card) or cash.
- Can you deliver & collect?
- Our service vans regularly deliver & collect equipment to and from our customers throughout the North East of England.
- We use a next-day courier for deliveries to our customers throughout the U.K.
- In the unlikely event of a radio failure, what do I do?
- Motorola radio equipment is very reliable. Radio failure is rare but it can happen.
- A replacement will be sent immediately as soon as we have been informed.
